#RPGaDay2015 - Day 14 - 16

So, a DDoS attack on the server hindered me from posting my article for Day 14. So let’s do Day 14 & 15 together:

Day 14: Favorite RPG Accessory

I really like cards, dice, erasable maps and other stuff like this. For instance, I backed the Dungeon Architect Cards and Short Order Heroes. But my favorite accessory is the combination of the All Rolled Up with my Noteboard. The ARU is a bag which holds all your gaming items (maybe except your books, depending on how big they are): dice, pencils, etc.
The Noteboard is a foldable dry erase flip map which makes it perfect as an impromptu map tool. Here’s my setup: And here’s a promo picture of the Noteboard from their website: Noteboard PS: German customers can buy at Sphärenmeisters Spiele.

Day 15: Longest campaign played

That’s probably Warhammer 40K Dark Heresy which took us a bit more than 1 year. I’m glad that we stopped, though. The Game Master is very good, but I neither like the outmoded system (we played the 1st edition) neither the setting. Playing henchmen of some inquisitor and quenching the blasphemy was not my thing. I didn’t like the Gothic type religious fanatism inherent in the game premise.

Day 16: Longest game session played

Uh, I think I once played 8 or 9 hours, but we ordered pizza in between. It was an Oriental Adventures campaign with D&D 3.5 in Rokugan.
