Solo Gaming
Matt Jackson is working on his rules-lite so1um . It uses Tiny Solitary Soldier’s solo engine but is a standalone game. There are more than 500 clicks on Miso RPG, my minimalist (free) solo framework. Stuart Llyod contacted me and gave me the links to his solo systems Wayfarer and Scrawl (all Pay What You Want).
One is called Wayfarer, where your character explores a quasi-medieval world full of ancient ruins and strange creatures. The other game, SCRAWL (short for Solo CRAWL) involves wandering around the world, killing monsters and stealing their stuff. It is pure undiluted murder-hobo stuff.
PenguinComics also have some solo gamebooks .

Jason Pitre is kickstarting Sig: The Manual of the Primes. It is an expanded version of his previous book. As a standalone setting and game system. I wrote a post about the first edition here.
Sig is the nexus of the multiverse. It’s a city connected to everywhere, a refuge for the oppressed and a prize for tyrants. It’s a place where culture is at the forefront, with diverse faiths and tongues struggling for space in the crowded metropolis. It’s a city of families, both whole and broken.
I’m also backing Monkey, the Roleplaying Game of the Journey to the West by New Newport (D101 Games).
This is a story-telling game set in a mythical China, where out of grace Immortals seek redemption by escorting a vulnerable, mortal Monk to distant India. Braving many dangers along the way, to recover scrolls of Buddhist scripture, that are missing from the Chinese canon. The road through the wilderness is dangerous since all of Demon-kind has resolved to stop the pilgrims and the eat the Monk’s flesh!
Misc
You can get Jacob Ross’ Cosmic Warriors as a PWYW-download. It is a game based on The Black Hack but geared towards playing in the universe of Saturday morning cartoons and Shounen manga.
